Q: Is the entire cover waterproof?

No. If any of it is waterproof, I don't know which part it is. My older dog occasionally, rarely has accidents and I bought him this bed specifically because it was supposed to be waterproof. Then it happened, and the liquid just leaked all the way through to the foam insert ruining the whole bed. As far as I can tell it's just a lie for them to say it's waterproof.

Q: are bolsters egg crate or loose padding?

Solid - So there are 4 separate pieces including the main pad. Each of the 3 bolsters are manufactured with the common ends being at 45 deg and each are in their individual, tight, cloth sleeve. This gives good solid/tight corners as well as great aid in sliding them in and out of their pockets. Thus the bolsters are very firm with tight corners and my lady friend really enjoys utilizing them as pillows or hanging her feet over. Not cheap but I am also very pleased.

Q: We have only used this dog bed for a week or so and it’s already broken! How do I get a refund? I don’t want another one!
