My three-year-old twins love Paw Patrol and, since they love for me to read to them, I decided to find some Paw Patrol books that we didn't have for their birthday. Usually I try to buy board books since they are more durable but my kids are starting to get into the age where they aren't nearly as rough on books as they used to be so I was delighted to find some Paw Patrol Little Golden Books. Seeing these books reminded me of when I was younger so I was excited to buy some more of these books for our book collection! They are just like I remember with the thick, cardboard covers, bright and colorful paperback pages, and the gold binding. They are the typical Little Golden Book size too, at around 6 1/2 inches by 8 inches so if you have other Little Golden Books, this will fit in nicely with those too.Pirate Pups! is based on the episode "Pups and the Pirate Treasure" (taken from the book's title page) and it tells the story of how Cap'n Turbot is exploring and falls down into an old pirate hideout. Of course he needs the Paw Patrol to come rescue him so Ryder and the pups head out to help him. The story continues with a treasure hunt for all of the pups and a nice surprise at the end!My twins love this story and I'm glad we purchased it as part of their birthday present. It is the perfect length, not too short and not too long, so it's great for short attention spans but it has enough of a story that it's not over too quickly. I think we will enjoy this book for a long time because I can read it to my kids now and as they get older, they will be able to practice reading it themselves! Please note that this book does not contain Everest at all so if your Paw Patrol fan likes her the best, this book may be slightly disappointing to them. Overall, my twins and I are happy so we would highly recommend this book to any Paw Patrol fan!

I got this Paw Patrol Pirate Pups Book for my son. We had been looking for this book in stores and couldn't find it, thank goodness for Amazon. Really cute reading book, very interesting. Great story, great pictures throughout that are colorful and vibrant.Cute book, we really enjoy reading it. Highly RecommendGreat price too.

The story is OK - and my grand-daughter loves Paw Patrol and books so this was a perfect gift for her. Little Golden Books are still a good quality with nice colors and good binding.

Great little Golden Book. I grew up on these, and so glad to see they are still making them for this generation. I got this as a small gift for my Nephews 3rd Birthday. His party is Pirate Themed and he's obsessed with Paw Patrol. So this was a win win in my eyes for him. It's a cute little story as well! Great for those Book Lover Children in your lives.
