I used it to trim an antique desk. It turned out beautifully! Easy to work with. I'm glad I got enough for future use 😌

The other review is absolutely correct. If you cut it, it unravels and unravels fully.

This gold rope was just what I needed for a craft project. It is a nice shiny metallic gold. It is not a soft rope like cotton, it is stiffer because of the metallic fibers (not actually metal, just stiff material). This rope would not be great for detailed knotwork like macramé which needs a more pliable cord, but is fine for simple knots, bows, etc.

I used this rope on a diy vase made from cardboard and rope. The rope arrived on schedule. It measured accurately with the description from the seller. I've ordered this rope 3 different times and all hues of gold are consistent. It measured out at 59 ft. as advertised. I will be ordering more as needed.
