Very Cheeply made.
Very cheep. Do not buy. The box on the back that attaches the wire from the pump to the solar panal is attached very weak. The slitest movement and is separates form the panal making the pump inoprable.

Good little pump
I bought this little solar powered fountain pump in 2021, and it’s still working. I use it with a pond spitter for a ten gallon frog pond. The pump is left outside all year, and I’m in the Midwest where it gets cold during the winter. This spring the pump appeared to stop working but I pulled it out of the water and cleaned everything and now it works again. Yes, it only works in full, bright sunshine. The battery doesn’t store the solar power. I like that the pump has a filter that can easily be taken out and cleaned. I think it was around $15 when I bought it.

Poor quality
The solar panel broke off the connector so I ordered a replacement that was broken exactly the same upon arrival

A little disappointed
As long as this panel has "direct" sunlight it works like a charm, but any clouds and it stops working. No battery storage for power to keep it going. So it does not work at night nor on a cloudy day, nor in the shade. This should have stated "must be in direct light only, no battery storage backup". So we found that we had an electric pump and switched out the pumps, so now my little water founding runs day, night, sunshine, rain or a cloudy day. Lesson learned read, read, read and double check reviews before you buy one so you are not disappointed like me. At least I did not spend a lot of money on this.

More leaves the bird bath than stays in
Water blows out of the birdbath with a breeze or if the float moves from the middle. Tried to keep it in place with rocks but still found the pump not even working or the water missing from the birdbath. Would work better in a pond.

SOME DEFECT
THIS IS MEH. THE PUMP WORKS BUT THE ADAPTERS JUST SLIP OFF UNDER THE PRESSURE OF THE PUMP. IT HAS A LONG HOSE BUT I CANT USE THE ATTACHMENTS. I WISH IT WERE BETTER QUALITY. ITS NOT HIGH PRESSURE BUT YOU WILL GET A GOOD BUBBLE OUT OF IT EVEN AT THE HEIGHT OF THE DAY.
