Best bang for the buck. impressed about the durability after many years.
I was having a hesitation about the product due to its affordable price, didn't have high hopes, but it turn out to be a very good product that still work despite I bought it many years ago. the battery still works very well. impressed

Good product
This is so convenient. I use it for both exercise and just when I'm out walking or mowing the yard. The battery life is great. The Bluetooth connection is really strong as I've been 50 ft or more away from my phone and I still had Bluetooth.

Perfect for What I Needed
You'd never guess by looking at me, but I go to the gym nearly every day. For the past year I'd been using Shockz OpenRun bone conduction headphone for the gym as I like to listen to music and YT videos while working out, but I also like being able to hear around me in case anyone wants to compliment my sweet azz. (For the record: this hasn't happened yet, but it might, and I need to be prepared.)The problem is, in the past 12 months I've been through two pair of the OpenRun headphones. The first set stopped taking a charge and wouldn't turn on the first time it got cold here in Colorado and the second pair worked flawlessly until the rubberized exterior wore out at the control buttons. I didn't want to spend $150 again for the same thing so started looking around for other options.I'd been planning on using an older pair of SoundCore over the ear headphones that were broken, but serviceable, when Amazon showed me these Optium. The SoundCore's didn't have an IPX rating and most of the reviews said they didn't last long under stressful usage, so I was excited to see these not only having an IPX rating of 7 but also their price tag (I purchased them for $20)I bought them hoping they would suffice, and they came the next day. I have worn them to the gym a few times now and I can honestly say they're perfectly fine (for the price). Do they have amazing sound quality? No. I can hear the music and videos without worrying about them falling off my head, though. Do they have bass because we're all about that bass, right? Not really, no. But, then again, neither did the Shockz. In fact, my Amazon Echo 2 buds have more bass (and ANC) than these. At the gym, that doesn't matter to me since there's lots of clinking and clanking anyway. Plus, no ANC, which means I can hear around me when someone wants to whistle at my legs. Don't get me wrong, these aren't "tinny"' they're just bass-less, so, more treble. Kind of like my truck speakers ... but that's another story. The IPX7 rating also means I don't have to worry too much about them when I'm in the steam room or sitting in the spa. I don't swim or shower with them, though. The charge lasts far longer than either my OpenRuns or my Echo 2s, but these have significantly less features to drain the battery away.Earlier today I took a call while listening to music through these and the other end said I sounded fine, so that's a plus. These Optiums came with a small case, some ear pieces to adjust to your ears and a small clip you can use to clip the wire to your collar or headband, if you're that guy (don't be that guy). For $20 I couldn't be happier with a headset. I would have given these 4.5 stars, if allowed, as opposed to 5 if they had any sort of bass.

Great Headphones For the Gym
I ordered the Otium Beats Bluetooth headphones recently as I was in need of a new pair of workout headphones. I am an avid gym-goer; I try to go at least five times a week. I do everything from lifting to running so the headphones I need had to be durable yet still retain a good sound quality. I am going to discuss the quality and fit of the headphones, as well as their resilience to sweat and constant use. Finally, I will give my final thoughts about the product as a whole.Quality and FitThese headphones are clearly made for those who enjoy exercise, as they are fit with an over the ear loop that makes sure they do not fall off while you are running. The two earpieces are connected via a cord that goes behind your head. I really like this feature as it is none intrusive and does not get in the way when you are bench pressing or doing other lifts. The actual fit of the headphones is really good; I have never had them fall out or become loose in my ear, so the sound quality remains the same throughout the workout. Speaking of the sound quality, the headphones have performed exceptionally well so far. They block out outside noise and the bass and other sounds are very crisp and clear. Since they are also Bluetooth headphones, I wondered how well the connection would hold up in the gym. I have never had a problem with it, and have been able to walk a solid distance away and still had it connected. So as a whole in this section, I would score the headphones very highly as they are a great fit and sound fantastic.DurabilitySince these are workout headphones, my main concern was how durable they would be and how well they would hold up against sweat and constant use for hours at a time. They are listed as sweat-proof, and I have definitely put them to the test. I am happy to say that my sweating has not affected them at all, and they have not malfunctioned because of it. On the headphones are buttons that allow you to change the volume and songs that you are listening to. The button for changing the volume is great, and has never stuck or stopped working. The button press for changing the song is somewhat unconventional, but it is a feature I rarely find myself wanting to use, as my phone is usually close by and then I can actually see the song I am choosing. Another aspect to the durability of headphones would have to be their battery life. I feel like if a pair of headphones is perfect in everyway but the battery dies in under and hour or something like that, then they are not worth it. These headphones actually really surprised me when it came time to charge them. They are listed on Amazon as lasting for 8 hours on a charge, so I thought I would test this. I charged them out of the box, and then did not have to charge them for two weeks worth of gym time, which is far more than eight hours. These headphones are very durable and the battery life on them is exceptional.ConclusionOverall, I could not recommend these headphones more. They are long lasting, durable, and the sound quality is just as good as any other on the market that I have tried. Anyone who goes to the gym often will definitely enjoy them as they are worth every penny.
