I have a 2017 Smart for Two and this fits perfectly. I have an 11+ Iphone so it's the big one and the holder that came with my Smart didn't fit my phone. I have been using the ones that suction to your window and I hated it. I was so happy to find this. It does rattle a lot so if your bothered by that kind of thing I wouldn't get this. I just turn up my music! It is a gravity fit for the most part. It is cradled on one end and loosely fits into the other end. I tilt it back (which helps with the rattle) and keep the phone vertical which seems to work fine. It comes with three different adapters for your phones and an extra joint piece. It makes me so happy. Of course the only bad thing is I cant' see my radio read out as well but I will suffer that! It's also nice that I can aim an air vent at the back of my phone in the summer to keep it from overheating while giving me directions. Win Win and if this breaks I don't care I will be happy while it last and I will get another one after that!! :)

I bought one of these and after about 6 months the stem holding the phone mount broke off. I bought another of the same simply because there are so few products on the market suitable for my car. When I unboxed the second one I noticed that there is actually a replacement part included for the stem that broke. Meaning they anticipated it would break, but instead of designing a better product they just included a spare part. The stem on my second mount broke after 2 more months, and the size adjustment slider on the new mount broke at the same time. So now I'm back to the first dock I bought, but at this point it does not grip my phone well. The phone falls constantly, which is rather dangerous while driving. I'm done with this brand.

Fits 2016 Smart fortwo passion. Only thing is that larger phones you have to bend arm to get phone yo fit. Worried I might break it.

This fit my 2018 Smart perfectly and holds my iPhone securely. Much less expensive than the OEM but looks and works just as well
