I am a HUGE hot sauce person. I lather everything in it, I usually use Dave's hurting habanero, but I think I destroyed my taste buds so much that it wasn't spicy enough so I decided to go next level. Made eggs this morning, cracked open my new bottle of ghost pepper sauce which I have been strangely very much looking forward to, thoroughly doused my eggys in it. Took a bite and GOOD LAWD HAVE MERCY it is HOT!!!!! I'm sweating, snot running everywhere and panting like a dog in heat. I just put the core of the earth on my eggs and in my mouth. After the blood, sweat and tears dissipated the flavor was DELICIOUS. I'm telling you people, this is a 'champion only' hot sauce, not for rooks. ONE DROP AT A TIME, a half of a drop, a sniff is enough. This sounds like a bad review but it is not, I love this stuff, it's DELICIOUS, one drop will satisfy satan himself. Enjoy with caution people. Dave knows how to make sauce, grew up on his stuff. Will continue to eat this until my face falls off. Thanks Dave, keep up the good work!

I have used Dave's Insanity sauces for many years but this was my first time with this product. It was mildly hot but tasted good. It's a good sauce to use if you just want to dial down the usual heat on your tacos or whatever you use it for. You can use more of it without getting the big burn. Bottle arrived early and intact. Highly recommend!

I love this brand. They have the best flavor while packing some heat. I enjoy hot sauces, but want to still taste my food and enhancements. Dave's is the best out there! The prices are in line with the others, but you can not match the flavor and heat that they produce.

This is my favorite Dave's hot sauce, and I've tried quite a variety of them. The heat is definitely there, but it's flavor is intended to be dripped in a line of beads across whatever you're wanting to give some heat to, a single line is what I find does the trick for me. I can still taste the food, but it has a good solid zing and the distinct flavor of roasted habanero to enhance the flavor further. All those grocery store brands fall far shorter of heat/flavor compared to this.But if you're looking for fire in a bottle that causes a little atomic mushroom cloud every time you drop a bead on your food, then you should look for hotter flavors. Dave's website gives one a pretty good indicator of how much fire the bottle contains, and upon occasion I make use of the Ghostpepper sauce to my chili or hot pots, but for foods that I want to season with heat and roasted habanero flavor, this is my go to.

Daves Hurtin Habanero is anything but hurtin. It's not spicy, it has a strange taste that is nothing resembling habanero. I've been able to make a bottle of daves last months but I had to mix this sauce with a bottle of texas pete to make edible for some wings. Whole bottle on wings and didn't even break a sweat. Very disappointed.

Good taste, could be hotter!??!

When the bottle arrived, I did what I always do with hot sauce. Filled up a spoon of it and ate it. It smelled just like Taco Bell Diablo sauce. It tasted just like Taco Bell Diablo sauce. I was not impressed with the heat of the sauce. It is a little hotter than Diablo sauce especially if you eat a lot of it.So I gave it another chance with dinner. I ate quite a bit of this stuff and it’s just not that hot to me. I realize that habanero sauces aren’t the hottest thing out there. But there are a few habanero sauces I’ll absolutely reach for over this anyday. They are much hotter than this.I won’t order this again. It’s just not for me.I think the price is fair. If you like Taco Bell Diablo sauce give this a try you will probably really like it.
