Great chocolate and hazelnut flavor.
It is delicious and made incredible chocolate swirl ice cream. I made it sugar free, dairy free with coconut cream, coconut milk, vanilla and this swirled in. Unbelievable. You really get the hazelnut flavor, too.

Little piece of heaven
I been on keto for one month now. I don't have strong cravings but I use to love Nutella. I was pretty bummed that I won't be able to eat it in a long time. I decided to try and find a keto alternative without much hope. I found this searching amazon and read reviews where people said it tasted gross. I decided to try it anyway and I'm so glad I did. This taste amazing to me. Honestly I don't think I'll need to ever go back to Nutella. It is just not as thick as Nutella. If you are on keto and you are use to not eating sugar, this spread should taste just right to you in term of sweetness. My husband who is not on keto stated it tasted a little bit bitter. However for me this is a little piece of heaven. I def recommend to give it a try.

Get the updated label with the new recipe
The first jar I received (on the right in the picture) tasted terrible. There was no hazelnut flavor and a strong rancid oil taste. I received it in Feb with an expiration date in July of the same year. I reported it to the quality control department on the company website. A very nice rep got right back to me, apologized (apparently it was a known issue with the batch) and offered to send me a jar from a new batch. The jar I got a few days later (on the left in the picture; expiration in May of next year) was so much better. The hazelnut flavor is perfect and the oils taste fresh. Also the first ingredient on the new jar is organic soluble tapioca fiber instead of the vegetable oil blend which is listed first on the old jar. It is certainly not the same taste as the leading brand containing dairy and lots of sugar, but for being organic, dairy-free and low-sugar, I have not found anything better. So, if you don’t like the flavor of the jar you receive and it is labeled as in the right on the picture, be sure to let the company know.

Unpalatable
A liquid, oily mess. Maybe this particular jar had separated but it is definitely not a spreadable product. It was a gloppy liquid that wouldn’t remix no matter how much I stirred it. It also has a bitter aftertaste that lingers in the mouth. I usually stir a spoonful into cocoa so I don’t eat it plain, and the oil dissipated in my drink with a lump of the harder product left in the bottom that did not taste good.

3.6 - not great, not terrible
I bought 4 brands of palm oil-free hazelnut spreads as a replacement for nutella - Nocciolata (Amazon ID# B00MFNAKQY), this one, Pongo (Amazon ID# B08LHDTNZW), and tbh (snacktbh dot com). This was the 2nd most expensive at $1.00/oz and in my opinion it was also the 2nd best in taste, with Nocciolata being #1. The no sugar is good health-wise but in taste...not so much. There's an aftertaste that everything with artificial sweeteners has and unfortunately it's just not that great. If you can afford it, I highly recommend Nocciolata. The palm oil industry is absolutely horrific for the environment (instead of cutting down trees to make room for the palm plantations workers just burn entire forests), wildlife (animals, including endangered orangutans, are burned alive if they can't escape the fires fast enough), and humans (Indonesian and Malaysian "workers" are basically slaves because they are paid so little that entire families, including small children, have to work on the farm and can't afford to leave). So, anything we can do to cut out palm oil is a big win!

Very tasty, great with Ritz crackers
It is a very good alternative to Nutella. You can definitely taste the hazelnut, and it's rather sweet. It's definitely not exactly like the real thing, but it's a great alternative.

Healthier, more nutritious AND more weight friendly!?! Right up my alley!
First Nutella knock off I’ve tried and as of right now I’m happy I went with this one! Loving it on thin grain crackers, diet (“light”) toast, strawberries, and apple slices!Pros(compared to Nutella)•Certified Organic•More NutritiousNo, I’m not gonna pretend this is a “health food.” It’s still an “indulgence food” but it has far more fiber in it, a teeny bit more protein, a surprising amount of non-heme iron, and the same amount of calcium despite being dairy-free. I don’t know how absorbable the mineral sources are, but it’s still much better than an empty-calorie indulgence!•More Dieter-Friendly!This is only has 150kcal per 2TBS while Nutella has 200kcal. Though this isn’t really a “diet food” I do still love that it’s made to be more suitable for health-conscious consumers *and* weight-conscious consumers.I also noticed the 25kcal reduction per TBS makes this spread’s calorie-sparing similar to a few other things I’ve switched over to:•whipped peanut butter (JIFwhips)•sugar-free fruit preserves (Polaner/Smuckers)•sugar-free chocolate syrup (Hershey/StoreBrands)———— Like this spread they are 25-35kcal lighter per TBS compared to their regular counterparts. In my experience this amount of spared calories really does make a difference in the long term! It’s definitely a bit easier for me to manage my weight w/o treating myself less (at home) when I use several reduced-calorie products like this.•Lack of sugars. The first Ingredient in Nutella is table sugar and it has 21g! This uses the non-caloric, non-glycemic, non-artificial sweeteners erythritol (the thing in Swerve) and stevia (the main thing in Truvia). This only has 2g of sugar so it’s better for blood sugar & insulin response than cane sugar and other free-sugars like brown sugar, beet sugar, molasses, date sugar/syrup, dextrose, corn syrup, or hfcs. Much less guilt inducing!Cons:(Compared to Nutella)•Nutella is sweeter and has a better taste overall but that’s what I expected since Nutella is mostly sugar and junk food is engineered to be addictively palatable! It think it would probably be better if they replaced some/all of the stevia in it with a different 0-GI sweetener that has a less bitter after taste. Allulose, inulin & monk fruit come to mind.•Price is notably higher — but considering the fact that it uses organic+better quality ingredients and took more ingredients to create and is a specialty product I still gave this full stars for valueOther Pros:(General)•No artificial sweeteners. (Saccharin, Sucralose, Aspartame, Ace-K) While I do I understand that they are safe, some people like to avoid them and the natural sweeteners Pyure used have been suggested to be beneficial to our gut microbiome and better for organ function than non-caloric artificial sweeteners .•Free of hydrogenated seed & vegetable oils. And thus it’s free of PARTIALLY hydrogenated S&V oil — that’s the one that adds synthetic trans fats to our food. Both partially & fully hydrogenated oils are often used in USA products like nut butters, dessert spreads & sweets quite a bit. I’m rather cautious of the ones that don’t make it clear that they are “fully” hydrogenated and leave it vague on the packaging. Thankfully this product just uses organic non-hydrogenated oils so I have no worries!
