I was looking for a Bluetooth speaker to use in my office. I wanted to use it to take and make telephone calls and listen to music and podcasts. The DOSS SoundBox Plus fits all the requirements I needed. It is a very sleek speaker that provides clear and crisp sound. There is a surprising amount of bass in this small unit. I was not originally looking for a speaker that had light effects, but I found it to be fun to use. You do not have to have the speakers illumiated, and can choose from a variety of effects.Right out of the box the speaker was easy to use. After pairing the speaker with my phone I was playing music with a minute. The sound was large and full. It is easy to adjust the volume directly on the speaker by tracing the center circle in the direction you want the sound to go. Left for down, and right for up. You have the ability to connect to the speaker via Bluetooth, using the 3.5 mm auxilary cable or even via a SD card.Comes with an instruction booklet, micro USB charging cable and a 3.5 mm aux cable.I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fantastic sounding speaker at a reasonable price.

I've had this speaker for 1 hour now. Here is the deal. The sound is what you would expect from a 30-40 dollar speaker. It's not going to impress anyone. Personally I think it sounds pretty bad. It's good enough for my office which is where I want to put it because I can't make it too loud anyway, but if you are looking for a loud speaker with good bass this isn't your speaker. I am kind of particular with my music quality because I listen to music all day long but I'm not a speaker snobb. I'm always looking for quality to value ratio. Anyway, I just after listening to a few songs I went and ordered a different brand speaker to see if I can get better lows out that one.The goods....cool lights, buttons are cool too. Easy to sync.

I have played it out on our porch as loudly as it will go (sorry, neighbors) and there was no distortion. I don’t usually crank it up, but it has done really well. The video shows the lights. The controls are easy and it pairs easily. You have to hold down the light button on the side until you see it pop up in your Bluetooth devices. The volume control took a little figuring out. You have to press the ring on top a little firmly, not just lightly. I have not yet had to charge it, but haven’t used it for hours and hours. The light features are changeable, which is nice. It was packaged well, came quickly. I have no complaints.

I love LED music sync speakers, this speaker is definitely a fun gadget to have, the battery life is incredible, the touch control is very intuitive, it is very light weight easy to take it anywhere, the sound quality is good but not the best when comes to bass, I want to get another one to try the wireless stereo pairing feature, overall very nice speaker.

This is the second DOSS speaker I've owned. The other one I keep in my classroom so I got one for home,too. I really like the quality. It was so easy to pair- I didn't even have to use the little manual. It has Avery nice loud and clear sound. Plays music great. I also had my daughter call me to see how it sounded. The call was clear on both ends! I would definitely recommend!

Sound quality isn't sacrificed, a RGB appeal that's not common and good bass for it's size.With a full battery and features on, you are garunteed a good night's worth of output. But without the light feature on, you will save your battery from overheating.but if there are any defects, amazon will replace defects in the equipment, free of charge. Fortunely they understood and sent one day shipping for defective model I received.Tip: keep the cords attached to the device or label them with tape to stop cord confusion.Notes:Device was at 70-80% when video was made. When fully charged, device reaches over 80 decibals.Touch surface allows for a hassle in carrying across short distances. Accident selection, mode or random button can be pressed.Only one side has the RGB feature.without using the RGB feature allows for longer/louder sessions. Turning off this feature is optional.

I am SHOCKED at how loud this can get and how good the sound quality is. I bought it to use at the beach/pool and it’s perfect. My kids like the lights that change color and fade in and out with the music and I like that I can Also turn the lights off. It paired with my iPhone in seconds easily which was great.

I bought this for my bedroom echo as sometimes it is a bit muffled, and I wanted to play music when in a side room. Pairing was easy, and it sounds good. I do like the lights, but since it's for my bedroom I was glad they can be turned off.I currently have it plugged in to a USB port on my power strip so I can't attest to battery longevityIt is a pretty good size without taking up too much space and (without batteries) very lightweight.

One of the cheapest speakers with TWS functionality. They've done away with analog controls, opting to use touch sensitive controls, which I guess is handy because there is less components to break, but the volume implementation was a little confusing at first. It turns out you have to turn by touching the illuminated blue circle itself. Battery life is great, not sure I'm getting the full 20 hours as claimed, but I'm definitely getting more than 15 hours per charge, which is charged via micro usb, and not usb c.The illuminated speakers are there if you like it, it's got several modes, with one mode that turns it off if you don't like it. It's not that bright, and you can't really see it in direct summer sunlight, but indoors it's fine as well.Now for the most important part, sound quality. Test sound tracks are " Sunrise" by Gfriend for the vocals and high range, and "Side Effects" by Stray Kids for the bass and low range. Honestly this thing can go quite loud to the point of where it becomes uncomfortable, so pure decibel-wise you don't have to worry. The sound gets distorted and tinny as the volume goes too high though, so for ideal sound quality you won't want it too loud. The dual speakers are identical and it doesn't have a speaker that's dedicated to bass/low range, so the bass/low range suffers, not too thumpy. Mid range and treble is just fine though. But honestly you're going to have a lack of bass for any wireless bluetooth speakers at this price range, and driving a dedicated speaker for bass (mini subwoofer) would destroy battery life for the speaker.I only have one of these so I was unable to examine the TWS capability of it.

So I have the Logitech UE Boom and was looking for something a little more 'disposable' as some of my friends get a little too wild witht he UE Boom and it's a pretty expensive speaker. It cost me like $150 so i'm super not keen to have it destroyed when we have a few drinks.Anyways this little speaker cost a FRACTION of the price. It's about the same size, but it sits flats (better design imo as you can't knock it over). I was worried about the LEDs as I honestly hate them on speakers, but you can turn them off. It is also good as it shows very clearly when it's in pairing mode as the lights on either side alternate and change colour.Sound wise it's not quite as good as the UE Boom, but there's honestly not much in it. At lower volumes very comparable and only as you reach max volume you can hear the Doss begins to struggle a little more. But these little speakers aren't made for insanely loud situations so gotta be reasonable with them. This thing is perfect for sitting out in the park or having some beats in your office or lab or whatever. It's loud without being too loud and doesn't make it seem like you're more interested in listening to music than working which is great to keep the bosses off your back.If I was to compare the two ignoring price, the UE Boom is a nicer sounding speaker (ignoring the tube design which I really don't like). But factoring in price it's a no brainer... Also Doss customer support is fast and excellent based off previous purchases.

Very impressive ! I did not expect such great quality for this price. Very happy.Update September 21,: The Soundbox stopped working after only 1 1/2 month. The battery is no longer charging.Update September 26 : After contacting the seller, they sent me another one. Excellent service ! I only hope this one will outlast the first one. I give it five stars because of the excellent sound quality and the ease of use and connection.

I just received this sound box a couple of days ago,so really can't really evaluate until I have it for a couple of months.Previously I had ordered a smaller version of this Doss sound box which worked fine until a few days ago it started beeping approx. every 10 seconds and I could not eliminate the constant beeping!This I had for about 10 months!I gave it to my tech savvy Grandson,an Engineer the other day maybe he can knock the beeping out! I will say this new one has more bells and whistles,so we will wait and see.The delivery was outstanding-I ordered this box at 10:30 PM and received it next day at 10:AM!

The bass on this is PHENOMENAL, bought for my "turning tween" granddaughter...comes with the 3.5mm male to male cord a card slot...pairs well sounds good and not "blaring loud" but enough for both her room and her outings with friends. Was considering keeping it...BTW, the lights are soft and warm. A good product!
