100% Soft Brushed & Pigment Cotton Unstructured Solid Low-Profile Baseball Cap Dad Hats

I admit I'm not a hat person. But I have long hair and need something to keep it under control while driving in the summer with the windows down (and also to protect my head when I hike under a blazing sun). This hat has several benefits:+ It doesn't turn me into a walking billboard advert for some corporate conglomerate.+ It comes in light colors (very practical in sunny summer weather when dark colors just absorb light and heat)+ The materials and construction seem quite solid.+ Unlike some reviews I've seen, mine was NOT manufactured crooked or lopsided. Maybe I was just lucky?Those upsides are the reasons I didn't give a one-star review. But overall, I'm disappointed.- This hat is clearly designed for small-ish heads. I love the gender-neutral marketing, butthe fact is, this is only "one size fits most" if you are a woman. I'm a six foot guy with a large frame but for guys, that really isn't rare at all. A tad bigger than average, but not remotely rare. If I adjust the strap to it's absolute largest position, and wear it straight forwards or backwards, it only JUST BARELY fits.- Compounding that problem, this hat's size adjustment mechanism doesn't use any normal Velcro or plastic pinhole system like typical baseball caps. If it did, it could've been left completely disconnected to accommodate for vaguely large-ish heads like mine. Instead, this hat's size adjustment uses a weird strap/buckle that (unlike normal Velcro or plastic pinholes) CANNOT EVER be completely disconnected for larger heads without PERMANENTLY cutting the strap and destroying all adjustability forever.- Like I said, in the absolute largest setting, it only JUST BARELY fits when I wear it straight forwards or backwards. But unfortunately (and this is admittedly not the hat's fault), if I wear it straight forwards, it makes me look like a white trash trucker. If I wear it backwards, it makes me look like a white trash trucker at a tractor pull (don't ask). If I wear it sideways or diagonal, it finally looks respectable on me...but therein lies the problem: This hat is so small overall, and so narrow even at its largest setting, that it just isn't big enough to fit when worn at anything other than hillbilly-style straight-forward or straight-back. When I wear it at any of those even remotely-flattering Fresh Prince / Will Smith angles, I can feel it's so loose that even a tiny in-car breeze will knock it clean off. But that's exactly what I need it for.To be brutally honest, even a basic girl's headband would work far better in this regard. (Don't laugh, I have daughters.) But for a solution I can actually wear in broad daylight without triggering all the wrong kinds of questions...This hat is the closest I've found, but it still falls very, very short.

As a man in my late 30s (you have no idea how hard that was to type), I'm gravitating more toward "dad hats" and away from the New Era 59Fifty fitted caps I used to collect. This simple, adjustable cap looks good and fits well. I do wish the front of the cap had a bit more form to it but that might be my own personal preference. This cap will easily go with my growing wardrobe of minimal branded clothing. It's easy to adjust and I'm sure it'll be no problem washing (though I've yet to look at the instructions. All in all, I think this will cap will be great and a welcomed alternative to wearing my thinning hair out and about between haircuts.

I like the feel of the material (soft cotton) and it looks exactly like the picture. There's an adjustable band in the back, so you can make it fit your head. That works a lot better than the plastic band with holes to snap in place, like other inexpensive caps usually have. This cap has the look and feel of a more expensive cap.

Immediately after removing it from the shipping box I was impressed with how soft the material is! Very well made. Excellent value for the money! I have two and may order more! I love them. The buckle is a great feature as my ponytail hangs on velcro closures. Well made. 22 stars!!!!

I have ordered two of hats for kids by the same brand and was very happy with them. I got this one for myself and it’s adjustable and very comfortable. Unisex hat. No logos, plain, and functional. Doesn’t look cheap.

Received the hat in the time specified, but it was different than what was pictured on the Amazon page for Hat Depot baseball Cap: No Hat Depot tag on the outside or on the inside, a cheap clasp instead of a buckle to expand the size. Hat came in a plastic shipping bag and was crushed. Opened it up and tried to reform the hat, but it was so cheaply made that no effort could make it right. So back it went

For the price this hat is really nice, at least for me. I read a lot of bad reviews, but i have nothing bad to say about my purchase. It fits just right, nice and snug, no smell of any kind, color is just as advertised; khaki. Plan to buy more, some of the other colors.

I was concerned about sizing. I have a large head and “one size fits all” often doesn’t work. This hat fit fine. I have the band fully expanded but it doesn’t squeeze my head. The fabric if soft and the hat is comfortable. For reference, I am a woman so the hat may not work for a large man.
