If you are looking for a really strong vanilla taste, or something to completely substitute for vanilla extract, this isn't for you. Alchohol and glycerin based vanilla extract is much more concentrated than this ground vanilla bean powder, so it's an unfair comparison. But if you are looking for something to add a slight vanilla flavor and a nice touch of visual bean specks to your smoothies, golden milk, sugar cookies, and other foods which are light colored, you will really like this. The vanilla aroma actually gets better over time as it ferments and ground vanilla powder is a good source of antioxidants.

I eat Keto and this powder is a great addition to my chaffles. I blend cream cheese and egg and make chaffles in a mini waffle maker for dessert and adding this vanilla powder adds a taste of vanilla, a little more for more flavor and a little less for less. It is nice to know that this vanilla is organic and natural with no additives and it is worth the money spent. I think a lot of the negative reviews are expecting something sweet and are disappointed by the taste and the fact that real vanilla is not soluble in liquid, which is why you see brown spots for example in real vanilla ice cream. I highly recommend you give this product a try if your goal is to eat for health and taste.

I've bought many ground vanillas online looking to replace Bulletproof Vanillamax, as that was the best one I had previously found. This is definitely one of the best replacements I have found. This is one of two companies that I will be going back to to purchase from again.

While I like that this is pure vanilla, I don't like that it doesn't mix well. We used this to make popsicles, since I was trying to make them as healthy as possible, but despite thorough mixing with an immersion blender, when we put it in the molds, and froze the pops, the vanilla sank straight to the bottom (which was the top of the pop), so everyone got a big mouthful of vanilla instead of it being sprinkled throughout the pop. I would use this in baking, maybe, if it could mix better, but won't use them anymore for the pops. I am used to using whole vanilla beans, and just scraping out the vanilla myself, and thought this would save me some time, but scraping them works better and the vanilla mixes better.

The consistency is that of a moist and lumpy vanilla bean grind. By itself it tastes almost like someone fudge covered in perfume--weird and gross but almost good.Some people are saying that it is not potent, but they must have gotten a bad batch. Also I suspect you may need a lot more for hot foods than cold foods. If you can imagine a tiny pinch of vanilla so small that it would fit inside the letter O on your keyboard, that's how much I put in my cold protein shakes. It's like being slapped in the face by a giant vanilla bean.The hardest part of using this is evenly combining such a small amount thoroughly into a larger mixture. Fortunately protein shakes go in a blender, so that works well.

I feel like I totally wasted my money on this one...it has an ok scent at best and gave my drinks no flavor. It did not dissolve well in drinks which was my main purpose for purchasing it. And I can't return it...lesson learned.

Was I expecting a big change from liquid vanilla, yeah, and this stuff just doesn't measure up. When I added it to cream pie filling, it was all stuck together in a ball. It took quite a bit of stirring to get it evenly mixed into the filling. As far as vanilla flavor goes, I prefer liquid 100% vanilla extract by far. Even though vanilla extract is pricey, you can taste it when you use it in a recipe. This paste is not worth the money, and I won't be buying it again.

For the price and quality of this vanilla powder, I am surprised there are not more great reviews!!! The aroma is superb and the beans are slightly moist, not completely dried out like other brands. I would say that the flavor is twice as strong as the other, slightly more affordable brands. For a few more dollars this is extremely worth it. I will definitely re-order this delicious vanilla powder.
