Quality shoe, difficult to fit into
I take no issue with the quality of the shoe. The problem is fitting my heels into the shoes every morning for my daily walk despite the fact that the shoes are a perfect fit to my foot size. Be warned!

Amazing feeling
I love the look. I purchased the black with white soles. I had planter fascist surgery last yr on both legs. And I couldn't feel relief. I purchased new balance shoes per pediatrist recommendation. I went to be fitted at a shoe store and I purchased those high dollar shoes 180.00 and they hurt my feet horribly with the inserts surgeon fitted me for. So for the last 2 1/2 yrs my quality of life has been 0 after surgery I pushed myself in these new balance shoes and I was miserable. I tried to go back to work being on my feet 35hrs a wk and I had to put lidocaine on my feet and legs with pain medicine from my Dr. So I have had the worse of the worse pain ever. Come to find out I have cysts and nodgels in my feet and they can't remove. So I've seen 3 different Drs and no relief. I order the HKR shoes and trust me when I say I have searched and read reviews on all brands. And I decided to give these a try. I opened up my package and thought oh my these are good looking shoes I hope they work. I waited until the next day to wear them to start out fresh. I had no problem putting the shoes on. As I seen in reviews some had issues doing so. I actually put my hands in the shoe to see what support they have and they have a nice support in all the right places I wear a 6 1/2 wide. And they fit perfect. The true test is walking in them so I thought why not go to the grocery store. I was in the store almost 2hrs. When normally I can't walk an hr and pushing a heavy cart. I was able to do my shopping pain free. I couldn't believe I was in the store 2hrs. I haven't done that in almost 3 yrs usually I'm laying on my cart to help me get thru a basic shopping. I wore these shoes over 10 hrs no pain. After I took my shoes off no swelling of my feet or legs. And no leg cramps and foot pain in the middle of the night. Im so happy with these shoes. I'm on a weight loss journey. And I believe I can go back to the gym with these shoes. And the cost is worth every bit. Now remind you, both of my feet have cysts and nodgels & arthritis. I will be purchasing more pairs of different colors. I hope this helps someone whose quality of life was like mine.

A bit of a toe squish....
My toes are going numb. I'm going to order a size bigger and see if that helps. They do feel very comfortable when walking, even under the toes has nice cushion. They are very lightweight. One thing to note if you've got a hard time bending down or reaching your shoes to put them on, I wouldn't suggest these. They are a little hard to put on.

Better than anticipated!
Raise your hand if you're hesitant about ordering an off brand of shoes online? Oh, good. I see I'm not alone! With my arthritis, I need thick-soled sneakers, as well as ease of taking the shoes off-and-on. I looked at all the big names/popular brands. As I'm on a fixed income, I can't afford the name brand. So, I began my research into cheaper alternatives. That's when I came across this brand.Yes, I researched other lesser known brands. But this company seemed to fit my needs of: thick soles, comfort, ease in putting them on, and customer reviews. My two questions were: 1) Will they fit as stated? and 2) Will I be able to pull them on easily?Answers: 1) They do fit as stated. Maybe it's due to the stretchy material of the upper shoe, but, they're quite roomy. Almost too roomy. I went with a Size 10. Had I gone down even a half-size, I think my toes would have had issues going over the edge. I wear footies when I wear these shoes. 2) I was unable to get the shoes with the tab in the back to help pull them on. As I stated in my first answer, the stretchy top portion makes it easy to pull them up. And I have arthritic hands and have difficulties with grip. These are cushy shoes with an appropriate thickness of the sole. My only concern is when walking on uneven ground. I walked across a portion of sidewalk that was uneven and my foot twisted. Since there's no upper support (except for your own balance), I would NOT recommend these if you're elderly, or are prone to falling. Unless you know you're going to be walking on even ground, or just inside your home or shopping, any uneven ground might send you tumbling. I was able to catch my balance. But, I won't be wearing these to go on any hikes or long walks.Good shoe for the price!

I quit wearing walking shoes with ties because of this shoe
Name-brand shoe stores featuring running shoes (two light and flexible for me) + walking shoes for women I go to no more. Expensive as the day is long. Actually the support that the store advertises lets down. I have very flexible arches. The walking shoe has ties. They come loose and cause a falling capability. HKR -the most support I have ever had in a shoe. I have had plantar fasciitis before - so painful that it goes up into the ankle and you can actually feel it in the leg to a degree. HKR - provides support for that. Just because we may not have plantar fasciitis should tell us we do not ever want it - wow, what a feeling, what a balance. I replaced all of my other walking shoes with these. Have you ever tripped on home carpet because the rubber in a tennis shoe or walking shoe connected with a stretch of carpet as you were approaching one of your appliances? STOP? Before you were ready? Safety, it appears, is a concern of HKR. Get one, two, three pairs!!!! You will not regret it. Slick looking, feeling, great fit. Gee, I can't quit typing. I'm a lady true size 8; my HKRs truly fit. Dream shoes.

Size runs small
I ordered these after reading some of the reviews. I ordered a size bigger because of what the reviews said about them being tight and to order a size bigger. They was still kinda tight getting my foot in them but once I got my foot in the shoe was comfortable. I would recommend wearing them a few times around the house until your feet gets use to then.

That they are the most comfortable sneaker..just like they say..was glad I ordered them!
It took me a couple of times to get used to sock like top when putting them on but other than that I love the fit and comfort.

Super comfortable for walking but absolutely not tennis shoes
Well padded. Good arch support. Easy to take off & on. Easy to wash. But definitely not sufficient support for tennis or sport
