My wife and I have three kiddos (10, 5 and 2) and have a 1/4 acre backyard where the kiddos run around all the time. Was looking for a way and searching all over Amazon to get rid of those dang bugs especially here in the summer time, but my wife is always wanting to make sure we stay away from chemicals. We have been switching to more natural products over the past few years, but we also want stuff that actually works. Sometimes chemicals actually do the best job. But this stuff y'all, we are already seeing results. We are here in Alabama and the mosquitoes are basically vultures, and the size of vultures too. It takes some power to get them to go away. Super glad I could finally find some natural stuff that actually works instead of that chemical laden stuff from the box store.

I bought this because of the safety profile for a backyard party. I had sprayed 2 days before, was concerned the day before that there were quite a few mosquitoes in the yard. The evening of the party, we were running for the house! The mosquitoes were biting viciously! I had also provided wrist bands and spray.So after killing 30+ in the house, I would advise check local mosquito control: some mosquitoes are very aggressive, readily enter homes and reproduce quickly to increase the population.This will not work for this species! ( But neither did the bracelets or bug sprays)P.S. this smells great!

I know the product is good, but it didn't work well for us at this time. Our neighbors completely neglected their yard even after they noticed their dogs covered in ticks. Overgrown grass and weeds, piles of junk in the back yard, old furniture piled with newspapers and magazines. Just junky and messy. The infestation overwhelmed two of their dogs and they succumbed to the ticks. Once that happened they decided to do something, but our yard became a tick target as well. We have three dogs and they were coming in with 2 or 3 dozen ticks on them at a time. We treated our yard repeatedly, treated our pets and bathed them twice a week. Our yard is always maintained and is clear of any overgrown grass or shrubbery. We were hoping Eco Defense would work, but I'm guessing that the tick infestation was too great for the product and it just couldn't do what it is intended to do. Now with professionals treating the yard next door and a thorough clean up of their yard we're beginning to see relief on our side. We'll try Eco Defense again next spring before tick season goes into full swing and I'm sure then it will work very well. Our neighbors are in Dutch with the Humane Society for what happened to their two little dogs which is a very good thing.

We are using this for our back yard where the kids play like crazy. In years past we used some horrible toxic yard treatments but have really focused on getting cleaner products around our home. Our diets are great but with 8 kids we really wanted to focus on cleaning up all aspects of our lives. Happy to find a safe product for the bugs that won’t have horrible implications on my kiddos!!!

Item arrived leaking w a horrible smell that gave me a migraine, stunk up my home & gave me a mess to clean up & get off my hands. Amazon had me ship it back too again creating another mess. Small container for the price as well. I wonder if these are fake reviews. Terrible experience overall

We completely would recommend this product! It completely covered are front and back yard! We did the beauty bark areas first near the house which were infested with fleas! The next day those little burgers were gone and I mean gone! The smell was pleasant and could not hardly smell it like others we have used! I would highly recommend this product and will do another application next month!

We have a three year old and two dogs that love playing outside so we were so glad to find a natural product that works against the army of mosquitoes in our yard!

We have deer wandering around our small town in the evenings. They stop by to dine on our fallen apples and plums (especially the apples). We have always loved their visits and are glad they are making use of the otherwise wasted fallen fruit and it's always so cool to see them in the yard. However, I realized recently that they do carry ticks, so I've been worried with ticks with myself gardening and the grand kids playing in the yard. This gives me peace of mind. We are able to spray, it smells delicious, and the grand kids can still play in the yard without worries. We have not seen or found any ticks so far, so I believe this is doing its job. So thankful it is safe to use with the grand kids staying here with us.
