Love it & the quality is excellent!
I got this to amplify the sound on my chrome book when I was using it to stream TV while walking on my treadmill.LOVE IT! It's PERFECT. I was shocked at the volume and quality of sound this speaker has for how small it is.I took it outside with me while swimming in the pool and it was perfect. I could hear it clearly from one end of the pool to the other (mid-size in ground pool w/waterfall noise) and it sounded great. Previously I'd bring my Alexa (the big one-- Echo Plus I think it is) outside & plug it in which was kind of a pain. This speaker Bluetooths right to my phone and the sound is very comparable to what I get from the Alexa. COMPLETELY HAPPY!I got this inexpensively on a whim when it popped up as a lightning deal on my Amazon homepage ($10 or $11 I think). I was so happy with it, it made my husband want one too. When I went to order his, the DOSS was no longer on sale and pricier than I had anticipated ($20-30 depending on color) so I searched around for something comparable that was cheaper. I ordered him the MUVE Acoustics APlus mini speaker ($14).His just arrived and we put them side by side to see who's was better. I was certain the DOSS would be. To my surprise, the MUVE was a little louder and bassier. Not dramatically, but a little. Like if the MUVE scored a 10 in sound quality/volume, the DOSS would be a 9. Keep in mind we just got it so IDK how the MUVE's life/reliability is--it could go kaput tomorrow.I also still like the DOSS better for my purposes and depending on what you're looking for you might too. The DOSS is much smaller/more portable which I like. It also seems MUCH more durable. The grating over the DOSS speakers is really solid and appears to be made of metal. The MUVE is cheaper plastic and when I press on it with my finger it depresses easily. If I took it out hiking, treated it roughly or dropped or sat on it I could easily break the plastic over the speakers. I feel like I could throw the DOSS out a 3rd story window & it would probably be fine.Aesthetically the DOSS just looks better too; the MUVE looks like a cheap hunk of plastic. The DOSS also can easily slip into a pocket while the MUVE, depending on the pocket either wouldn't quite fit or if it did, it would be more bulky & uncomfortable. The DOSS is heavier like it has some substance where the MUVE is light as a feather which isn't usually a sign of quality in electronics. The DOSS has a few other plusses--water resistant which is important to me. It also has SD card capability (which I'll prob never use but for some people that's a plus). Both have mic for Bluetooth calls neither of which I've used.Overall even tho the DOSS is a few bucks more ($7 if you get one of the less expensive colors) and the sound isn't *quite* as good as the other--for me, I prefer the DOSS. The sound is still AMAZING and blew me away. I don't understand how something this small can sound THAT good! Also the durability/quality (I'm constantly dropping things & I don't think the plastic over the MUVE speaker would survive my clumsy a$$!), water resistance, and aesthetics/look make me prefer the DOSS. Completely worth the extra $7 and negligible difference in bass/volume for me.

Must Buy
I love this speaker its so cute and compact it fits right in my purse. I have a beats pill as well (the bass and quality on there is obviously better but this definitely keeps up with the competitors) but not great for traveling. I added a string so it can hang from my wrist. I can also clip it on to my Camelpak when hiking. I went hiking on a full charge (was using for 6 hours) and came home able to use it longer on the same charge.I've only used it in the bluetooth mode so far but it appears you can do an aux set up and memory card.Pros:- great sound quality for the price- perfect for on the go- easy to pair- charges pretty quickly and lasts about a day of continuous musicCons:cant think of any? Sand got in some of the little holes last beach trip but I just turned the music up and the vibrations knocked the sand right out. :) could have also bown air.

Impressive speaker for the price... But no shuffle option.
Like the sound and the fact that you can play music from a micro sd card. It is made very sturdy and is great to use in those situations when you want to add a little music when it is not readily available. You should know going in that it has no shuffle option, so the order you enter songs to the card is the play order. If you use as a bluetooth speaker this is not a concern. I use with a card and just shuffle mix songs as I add them to the card. That is why I gave it 4 stars as opposed to 5. Given its price, it's a great little speaker.

Impressive Sound
Bluetooth Speaker, DOSS Genie Portable Speaker with Clean Sound, Built-in Mic, Ultra-Portable Design, 8 Hours of Playtime, Mini Speaker with Strap for Home, Outdoors, Travel, Gift Ideas- RedI have 14.4GB of music loaded onto a 32GB micro SD card. That's more than 2500 songs and the card is only about half full. The sound is really impressive. I use it in my garage because it can be put anywhere and it just fills up the garage with music. Metal construction is strong. No cheap plastic. Nice strap for carrying around. I didn't buy it for Bluetooth, but I have tested it by loading my fire tablet and enabling it's Bluetooth connection. Speaker plays this way without issue.Sale price was less than $15 and free returns. I thought I'd give it a try, but I didn't expect it to be as good as the reviews. I am pleasantly surprised and will hold on to this.

Using for audiobooks on the go
Very portable , good sounding little compact speaker. I use it for listening to audiobooks I downloaded on my phone, mostly in the car. I have to turn the sound up, but works good. Loud enough to listen at home within the room. I have not tried music yet. I dont know the exact time it takes before needing to get recharged, as I plug it in at home after about 2 hours of use. I got a small neoprene carrying case at a local store for it. Nice color.I found this one because a nursing home was playing music in the hallway, using a slightly larger model same brand. It sounded great! Planning to get that one for music, as it had more bass sound than this little one.

Yes, this is the one!
This is a nice, solid little speaker. The case is steel with a heavy enamel paint coating. It appears to be very well made and is packaged extremely well. It has a speaker on both sides and I have found the sound almost seems amplified if placed near a wall or corner so the sound from the back speaker bounces off the wall into the room. The speaker is not so powerful it will blow your hair back, but for the size do you expect that? The sound will fill the room, don't worry. Sound quality is pretty good, not tinny or scratchy at all. Comes with a nice wrist strap if you want to carry it with you or throw it on your bike handle. Charges fairly quickly and will run for hours, I have used it for 6 to 8 hrs before it needed a recharge. I liked mine so well for streaming background music while working, I got one for my daughter to use in her office.
