I use this stuff in my pond and all of my fish tanks. It neutralizes metals and Ammonia which tetra doesn’t have. For the amount you get, the price point is better then seachem prime.

I love how simple and easy this product is to use! We have a very small above ground pond that we’ve created from a large round planter. With its smaller size we have to fill it up with a 5gallon bucket or two every few days during the Summer. Since we are only adding one 5gal bucket at a time we need to add a VERY small amount of this product as the bucket as it’s filling up then let it sit for 20 minutes and it’s safe for our fish to add the water to our pond. Highly recommend this product if your looking for a safe way to add water to your pond without hurting your fish from the chlorine found in water.

We doubled the size of our pond and used it to dechlorinate the water so we could return the koi to the new pond in the same day.
