I first bought these size xl when I was size14-16. Since then I have lost weight and now 10-12. However I still bought xl as more comfy than smaller size I had originally purchased. Great for under dresses or even as sports wear.

I bought these elastic shorts to wear under summer dresses a) to avoid exposing my self when sat or going up stairs/escalators b) avoid the dreadful summer thigh-chafing. I had bought some similar items from other retailers but the seams were irritating, others were visible under dressers and others were just too thick to be worn under other clothes.This is a comfortable, seamless, stretching material which I bought to wear under short dresses in the hot Caribbean weather and did not disappoint! It is thin enough but not see-through and did not fold or roll anywhere on my thighs or belly. It is not re-enforced to offer a specialised type of waist-shaping or belly support but I did wear it over undergarment and found that it did do a little something. My shorts were described as ‘long’ but because I am 1.78cm tall it came somewhere mid thigh which was great. I found that it is easy to slightly pull up to make it ‘shorter’ -if needed- and it will still retain its shape with out creating weird folds.When buying, make sure to use the ‘size-chart’. More or less is accurate and because or the elastic material you can’t fall to far out. If it’s on the snug side, it will be a little more see-through. If it’s a perfect fit, it will be a little less see-through. If it’s on the larger size, it will be almost opaque.It all depends on whether one is planning to wear it under clothes or on its own. Indeed, upon returning to UK I wore it on its own and even though my partner said it was not see-through, I paired it with a long t-shirt on top (for good measure) and it was a comfy wear for local activities. Looking at the longevity of the item, only time will tell but so far good, so no complaints.Price wise at £7 I would say that it is a fair value for money, seeing also that it offers versatility in it use.Communication with seller were excellent as well. They are quick to respond to enquiries and also resolve any complications. Honestly I can not fault this product at all and would definitely buy again in the future. First the positives ... lovely soft material ... 3 of the 4 pairs are the same length (perfect to wear with my knee length dresses) ... the legs DO NOT move ... no seams means no VPL ... during the recent hot, hot spell (in the UK) they did not make me feel any hotter... I’m a size 10, 5’ 3” and chafing has been a major problem. This is the first time I have worn dresses in the summer for at least 6 years. I am so happy I bought them. The negatives ... the waste band rolls down slightly ... perhaps I should have bought the next size up ... but I think they fit perfectly. The seams that are not visible (between the legs) are slightly uncomfortable but if you adjust them they do feel better. I purchased 2 black, 1 nude and 1 white. The white pair are about 2” longer even though they are the same make as the others. I’ve only had them about 6 weeks so have no idea how they will be after numerous washes. I would definitely recommend them though ... I’m so pleased I can wear lovely feminine dresses instead of spending the summer in trousers.UPDATE AFTER 10 WEEKS. I’ve worn a pair of these almost every day so after numerous washes how are they now. The black ones have remained exactly as first purchased. The white ones have small ladders front and back; to be fair, there was a tiny ladder at the front when I received them and I was going to return them but I was wearing a very pale dress to an event so I kept them. No one sees them so the ladders don’t really matter. The nude ones (which I have been wearing more often) are starting to slide up the legs. They don’t roll so no one would notice but I do have to pull the legs down when I have a moment of privacy. I’m still really pleased with them and for the first time in years my legs are becoming tanned instead of remaining ‘milk bottle’ white. Would definitely buy more pairs.

After buying these and loving them I foolishly bought some cheaper from a couple of other sellers (not all amazon) none of them were a patch on these. All of them were thinner and most were so slippery that they wouldn't stay put! But these give excellent support, are comfortable, stay up and amply protect thighs from chafing. They are also properly finished with comfortable hems. I've had them for months and they wash up great and dry easily. I originally ordered 3XL in black (im size 22) and I am now ordering the same again !

Comfortable, stretchy and lovely fabric and you can wear it under a long t shirt.

Very see through. If you're looking for cheap cycling shorts. Not recommended. Bought to go under summer dresses, so I don't feel so naked. Don't really hold anything in, but are comfortable. Don't come up as far on my waist as I would like. My waist is quite high. Mid rise jeans are low rise on me. Low rise jeans dont even cover my butt crack. These come about half an inch past my knicker line, but suppressingly dont roll down much. Usually anything that sits between anything between my knicker line and the small of my waist are forever rolling down. They're longer in the leg than what I would like too. They're longer than all my summer dresses. They come just slightly above my knee. My legs are quite short considering I'm 5'5" light weight and breathable for summer days.Easy to pull down quickly too. My biggest problem with support underwear is they take too long to pull down, in my late 30's and 2 naturally delivered children, sometimes those extra seconds are crucial ☺️

Worn these a few times now when I've gone out for a night out. They are very comfortable and stop your legs rubbing together when wearing a dress.Very lightweight and the size was bob on. I ut mine back in the zip up bag when I've washed them so I don't have to search through my drawer
