i like this little guy~
it's compact and has "super-speed" usb ports built into the unit, so i have this at my nightstand tucked away so all my charging devices can take advantage of it without having to deal w a long strip. im happy w this.

Perfect for spaces with limited room
With a tote box full of multiple outlet power strips in my workshop why did I need yet another I asked myself. Because nothing was working out for me for use on my nightstand, that’s why. Nightstands seem to be a special challenge for me, so much stuff ends up there and I’m always plugging something in or charging something, while other things like my Echo Dot need to be powered up all the time. I came to the conclusion that the only solution was to mount a power box somewhere within easy reach, which logically seemed to be on top. But where would I find one that has just enough, but not too many, outlets plus a place to plug in 2-3 USB devices. It turned out that this one from Trond was the one and only that I could find that did everything I wanted, no more and no less.Another user seems to be concerned about the orientation of the AC outlets. To me that's a personal preference not a make or break design issue. I happen to think it’s perfect the way it is. The design is that there are two outlets stacked next to each other and a third off to the side of the first two. The two that are stacked together are oriented so that the ground prongs are toward the outside of the box, a logical choice so that if you have two grounded transformers the cords exit to the outer edge rather than interfere with each other. The third solitary outlet is also oriented so that the cord exits to the outer edge where the cord is routed away from the three USB charging ports, which are oriented in such a way that my right angle plugs also route toward the outer edge of the box. This design assures maximum compatibility with virtually anything I may decide to plug into it.The plastic box itself is about as small as it could possibly get and with the four mounting holes makes it the ideal choice to attach to the back of a nightstand with just enough outlets for a table lamp, alarm clock and maybe a phone charger, although the USB ports built in to the box are adequate to charge most devices. Wisely they used very thin non skid feet on the bottom so the box could be mounted as flush as possible.Unlike many of the other power strips I own this one is very lightweight, and they do advise you not to try to use it with high current devices, it’s best suited for table lamps, phone chargers and similar low power things. The power cord though is fairly heavy duty and has an angled standard USA power plug at the end. There is a power switch conveniently mounted on one side and very wisely they designed it so the power switch only controls the AC outlets, not the USB power ports. With only three AC outlets this has limited uses around the house but it could not be more perfect for use in spaces where there is limited room, so beside my night table use I also plan to get another one to mount on top of my workstation desk.

Energy efficient USB voltage converter, flat plug, but no UL/ECL safety rating
I bought this to use on my dresser which is in front of an outlet in my bedroom. It's (nearly) perfect for this application. I can charge my phone with it and plug in my salt lamp.I tested it with a Kill-a-Watt. With nothing plugged into the USB ports, the power draw doesn't register at all. With my Moto E4 plugged in and charging, the power draw is 2-3 watts depending on if my phone screen is on. Power draw will vary of course depending on your device's power draw. USB ports support up to 3A/15W total. The 3 outlets are well spaced so they can be used with wall wart power supplies without outlets getting blocked. There's no surge suppression in this strip. This makes it usable on cruise ships.Pros:1. Energy Efficient. Parasitic power draw with no USB devices is negligible. Plus there's a power switch you can turn off when not using it.2. Nice size and shape for a nightstand or dresser, or for traveling.3. White LED is recessed, small and not too bright to keep you up at night. If it's still too bright, a small piece of black tape will take care of it.4. Outlets are well spaced for wall wart power supplies.5. 3 USB outlets let you charge your devices.6. Flat plug lets you plug it into an outlet behind furniture. The cord comes out at an angle so it doesn't block the other outlet.7. Mounting holes and screws allow you to mount the strip to a wall or furniture.Cons:1. No safety certification logos. It does have a circuit breaker and it's labeled with DOE Level VI Energy Efficiency, FCC and RoHS, and it's double insulated. But if safety certification is a concern for you, look elsewhere. I dinged 1 star for this.2. Cord appears to be a bit thin compared to other power strips I own. The strip is rated 10A, but I don't know what wire gauge was used. I would recommend this only for lower power draw devices like phone chargers, lamps, clock radio etc. No coffeemakers.3. Cord is ony 4.5 feet long, which can limit where you can put this relative to where your outlet is. It's just long enough to reach from the outlet to the top of my dresser where it sits.

Very handy
I bought this to add plugs near my bed. Older house so only 2 plugs in the master bedroom. I mounted this on the wall by the bed, it has saved me 3 extension chords and crawling under the bed to change things out when needed. I plan to purchase more soon for other rooms in the house.

Cheap and broke after 2 years of light use. Good while it lasted
Product was doing just fine until today when I unplugged something from it and the entire back plate came off which revealed the circuitry below. I had really only used this as a nightstand charging station hub and used it lightly. It broke after only 2 years of using it very lightly. Inside there are screws missing and pieces loose and rattling around. Very iffy manufacturing and it really shows after it broke in two. Better to look elsewhere that will actually last for a while

Best purchase ever!
I have four of these now! Two mounted on end tables between couches and one mounded on either side of my bed. I've thought about putting one on the wall in my kitchen and I know eventually I'll need some in the kids rooms. I'll definitely be putting one of these on the bottom side of my computer desk in the near future! If you're thinking about buying one of these and putting it anywhere around your house, just do it! I can charge anything anywhere and suddenly I have places to plug in lamps and vacuums and everything else all over my house! It's amazing!

Seems well made - has a bit of heft
I bought one of these because the configuration made it easier to plug in all the things. It has some nice heft to it - so it won't flip over like cheap power strips. Came with screws to anchor to the wall. I liked it so much I bought another one and a larger version from the same company.
